Trunk will not open..... HELP
I have a 2002 S600, the soft close function, door locks, trunk switch and most of the switches on the center of the dash do not work. I have attempted to open the trunk with the blade key with no luck, key will turn but trunk will not open no matter what I do. I suspect the PSE fuse is bad but the fuse is in the trunk and I can't get to it. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the trunk open??? HELPPPPPP

I think you put the trunk into valet mode. You need to get the key and turn the key counter clockwise. If you turn it clockwise it will lock the trunk, and you can't open it, even with controls.

Does the car start? If so, have you tried using the button on the driver's door to open the trunk?
Are you turning the mechanical key in the proper direction. I believe it has to be turned counterclockwise and pushed upwards. Also, the fuse for the PSE pump is not in the trunk it is behind the light under the rear passenger seat. The yellow fuse.

Trunk opens
Found a short in the fuse that is under the passenger seat. Repaired the short and replaced the fuse and trunk now opens as it should
