Need your opinion!

How does this look? Its much whiter in real life, but should i make it dimmer, brighter? Or does it look too much like rice.. I'd love to hear your opinions!

Phone camera's just doesn't cut it in the dark, if you want better pictures let me know!

BTW, i'm talking abt the led strip on the bumper, not the HIDs.

In the dark, it looks like your car has a glowing "mouth".

Why don't you illuminate the star on the grill to make the "nose"?

I actually have a S430 and a illuminated star would look weird with a hood ornament. But is that "mouth" a keeper?

That lighted mouth is different but might be too unusual . It doesn't look oem I prefer lighting updates that the new models use , like the 2015 style headlights or the illumlinated star used on the new cars

I'm going to illuminate the star on my cl 500I just got the eBay el wire , looks really dim in the daylight - almost nonexistent

but super bright at night

I just used scotch tape to attach it quickly , just to see how it looks , before permanent install .

it looks great and this is the right product to use to illuminate the star . Of course it would need to be mounted correctly so the circle is perfectly round and the corners of the star are sharp

For $2.93 including a switched wired controller that runs off an AA battery its totally worth it , they also have options to wire it using a cigarette lighter with a 12v transformer or you can hard wire it to your car

Any mod is a ratification of personal taste. To me it cheapens the car, just my opinion.

I can live with the illuminated stars but that bottom grill just doesn't work for me.

Thanks for the inputs everyone! I'm going to take it off and attempt the EL wire illuminated star.

Tusabes, how did you mount the el wire so that in the daytime it looks invisible?

I just got the wire yesterday and haven't mounted it, I just taped the wire onto the star with Scotch tape to see what it might look like

I just received the el wire and used tape to temporarily see how it would look, I haven't mounted it correctly yet

Posts 58 and 65 here show how to mount the wire properly
