Hello Everyone! The Fog lights and Tail lights flash on my 2003 S430 upon locking the car with the remote. It flashes for 10 minutes then stops. To stop it from flashing i lock the doors again. (or unlock then lock) What does it mean? It happens at random, but after coming back from the dealer (for service) its flashing a lot more frequently. 4/10 times locking the car will result in a flash.

It's because your alarm system is not functioning properly. The car flashes the lights to warn the owner that the alarm system should be replaced, all you would have to do to fix the issue is by simply getting a new alarm system. I have the same exact issue. Personally, I just ignore the problem. Just make sure you check back on your car every time you lock it.

My alarm seems like its working, when i push the PANIC button the car lets off a high pitched siren. Same goes with when i lock the car with the remote and open the door from the inside. No keyless go. I heard there was a second battery just for the alarm, maybe thats going bad?

Strange, my alarm does not work at all. Anyways, yeah, I did hear that it has something to do with the battery. You should try replacing the battery, if it's possible.

The alarm battery is inside the alarm unit and is not replaceable you have to replace the alarm unit when the lithium battery dies at 10-12 years out

I heard that if i replace the unit with a newer version, it will make a chirp sound when i lock and unlock the doors. Is that true? I'd love to have it make a sound when i use my remote, since the PSE pump is pretty much silent.
