Transmission - New vs Old pan?
Hi,
My W220 S500 (7 speed automatic) was made in may 2003. I recently replaced the transmission oil, filter and gasket.
I just checked my VIN on the Russian website.
My car has the very old pan (A220 270 06 12) and there are two newer pans. The latest has reference A221 270 12 12.
The gasket which I fitted on is the latest (A220 271 03 80)
The filter which I fitted on is also the latest (A221 277 01 95)
Do you think that these new parts may not suit well with the very old pan?
