Replacing heater hose connector

Hi
Can anybody tell me what need to be removed, or instructions, to get good access to replace this small three way plastic pipe that connects the hose through the firewall?
Thanks,
Steve

There is nothing showing in the search. If anyone can help, I have taken the wiper blades off and the screws to the cover under them, but it does not want to separate from the windshield.
Is there a trick to this?
Thanks

Here are a couple of threads that might help you. It looks like the firewall has to be removed.
