I have a 2000 S500 and recently I am not able to adjust the seat all the way back -

The seat seems to only travel a little less than 3/4 back .

All seems to move smooth and there are no obstructions . You advice is greatly appreciated

You might want to search in the E-Class forum. I remember reading something about someone else having a similar problem and it had something to do with the back seat causing the front seat not to move back and forth properly.
