Will an 02 passenger side mirror fit on a 05 S600?
I was driving on the highway this morning and this fool tries to shut down the IPASS ramp as I'm driving through it. I ended up losing my passenger side mirror. Mercedes will rip me off if I buy all the parts separately, I was hoping to buy a used one off ebay. All of the ebay ones are for 00-02.

Always something, at least it was minor.
To know for sure if the part numbers are interchangeable, you must look them up in the EPC. It is free to join but you must have a credit card which will not be charged. Go here and on the left side you will see subscribe. Follow the registration steps and you're in!
There are also instructions in our encyclopedia on how to join.
Good Luck,
Bob

Can't you make the fool pay for it? He did take out your mirror. But the most expensive part is the color matching and the labor. The parts are interchangeable, but after the 03 facelift the lights went from incandescent to LED.

Use the site that John provided and go to your dealer and ask them to price match it. I have had a very good experience with many of the Mercedes dealers around me.

Jason the dealers around here will only honor or match local prices. They will not match any internet prices. Also, they are highly overpriced. Just as an example I ordered a couple of accumulators for my ABC system. The price on autohausaz was $145. My local dealers wanted $250 for the same part. They tried to convince me that the parts I was getting were not OEM. When he brought his part out it was exactly the same manufacturer as the one I was holding in my hand and they would only reduce the price by 10%.

Oh it must be a city dependent thing, because here in sunny California, my local Mercedes dealers all price match. I wanted to price match the airmatic pump on autohaus so I didn't need to wait for it. They agreed, and they still provided me the 1 year warranty.
