Looking on advice for S400 Cdi
Hey guys!
I'm thinking of adding yet another Merc to my life, this time i found this beautiful 2001 S400 Cdi (Pic related).
It seems to be in a good condition but the only thing is that when changing from 1st to 2nd the automatic trans gives the car a very rough change.
Now im not sure what's causing this and i was wondering if any of you had this ?
If so what would be the possible scenarios, i mean how wrong can this thing go?
I do accept the fact that i will have to repair this car before i can use it as a daily driver, so now im looking for any advice.

MBWorld Fanatic!
You should take it to someone who knows these cars and have it checked out before buying. Spend the $100 or so dollars. It may be well worth the investment. If the transmission is messed up then that is one of the most expensive repairs.
