Unknown menu (to me!)

'06 S350. My heating is giving me trouble and in the attempt to search error codes, I pressed by mistake Reset+Circulation and got this strange looking screen.

It has many options, some in English, others in German...
It seems like a control panel for the whole A/C system. Now, I don't know if I touched or changed anything by mistake, as I don't know the defaults

Can anyone shed light on it?

That is your A/C Service menu. All it does is open and close the vent flaps and electronic flaps for the hot/cold air. I use it to test my engine cooling fan. Use the left temperature switch and scroll to number 12. And use the right temperature switch and take it up to EIS. Start the engine and your cooling fan will spin at 100%

Read through this thread (#11 in particular) to get a better understanding of the codes. https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...trol-unit.html

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately, it's neither error codes, nor one action (Cooling Fan Override), as there are over 90 menu items, and each has a long range of optional settings. I wonder if there's anything written about it, or a way to reset everything to default/s....

There are multiple service menus, if its over 90 selections of data then that you were in the wrong one. To get to that exact "choke" symbol menu, you press and hold REST and Recirculate for 8 secs. For the over 90 menu one, you press and hold REST for 10 seconds. Theres also another one with the charcoal filter and REST, thats to see codes.

Dear Jason, I appreciate your wish to help, but please READ what I'm looking for. THIS IS the menu I asked to be explained, and NOT where for some reason you're sending me to (let alone teaching me how to get into...).

The Rest+Circ menu has over 90 options (about 40 on the left button, and each of those has 1-3 options on the right button). Is there anyone who's got written material about this?
