S-series 2003 S500 4matic
Code(s) B1066, B102B- pre-safe issues

I get the malfunction error "Pre-Safe inactive" since I purchased the 2003 S500 4MATIK three weeks ago. Tried some of the clear methods suggested on this forum, but no change in the error.

Purchased a ICarsoft i980 scanner (well worth the $130) and pulled, documented, and then cleared over a dozen codes.

Two codes came back immediately after clearing in the Overhead Control Panel (OCP):
B1066 SR is not normalized

B106B The signal supplied by the control module Left front reversible emergency tension retraction and/ or Right front emergency tension retraction has an internal error

Also, the code B102B came up component A67ml (vertical adjustment motor) has an open circuit, but did not come back after clearing the codes.

I did some searching on these codes but found very little.

Hoping someone can share some thoughts on these codes.

Thanks, Mike
