Replaced my 2003 S600tt

I have had my S600 since November, 2007. I bought it with 25,000 Kilometres on it and today it has 95,000. During that time, I have spent $45,000 on repairs and maintenance which averages out to about $6,000 per year. I do not begrudge the cost of maintenance and repairs as I had done my homework before buying the car and knew what to expect. It had all the usual issues mentioned in this forum (front struts, ABC Pump twice, motor and transmission mounts, coil pack issues twice, ECU failure, ABC hoses twice and stuck transmission shifter) plus a failed headlamp assembly and a seized turbocharger. I had an independent mechanic do all the work for me. It has been a joy to drive as it is comfortable and quick for a large sedan. It is one of the best highway cruisers around.

This forum has been a big help in the on going maintenance as I was able to talk intelligently to my mechanic about all the issues. Thanks to everyone. I won't be gone from this forum as I will look in from time to time.

Some members have wondered what they would replace their S600 with and I have chosen the Tesla P85D (delivered 3 weeks ago). Higher performance, just as comfortable for the driver and front seat passenger but rear seat a bit lacking. I am hoping that this car will be more reliable in the long run as it is mechanically simpler but electronically more complex.
