Wipers are not parking in the home position

Have any of you experienced your windshield wipers stopping in a position a short distance up on the windshield?

I notice my wipers don't atop in the home position when they are turned off. I have tried monkeying around with how to turn of the switch to try to get them to stop at the right spot to no avail.
It seems 4:5 times they park themselves at a few inches up

Happens to me sporadically, just physically push them down to where they belong.

Mine seem to stop a little short from "home" also.
Not really a big deal but still noticeable.

Mine do this too, It pisses me off. When I had my E90 BMW I took it into the dealer for this! They claimed that nothing was wrong with them, but when I got back into my car the wipers were perfect again. I found out later that a fuse burnt out in my trunk and that there was a recall for this. But I can just push them down?

Yea Vonn you can push them down no worries. It should behave for a few more wipes thereafter.

Doni did yours stop working completely or was it working but not parking at home when you changed the wiper motor? Did it solve the issue?

Mine weren't going all the way down just like the other guys are saying and yes replacing the motor fixed it.

Thanks.

I will do a better job of STFA and look into the solutions.
I assume this is an issue for all similar year W220 that used the same wiper motor and switch components.
