Smile Help with my s class please...

I have 2002 S320 W220 I live in western Australia and buying rims over here is overpriced and nobody can give me straight answers.

I would like to order some Roderick RW-2 wheels and tyres from eBay but I am unsure of the sizing and whether they will fit my vehicle.

I would like to run 20's all round with 8.5 on the front and 10 inch rear.

Could someone please tell me if the 10inch rim will fit on my rear and will i be able to bolt them straight on or will I have problems with clearing the break calipers (my car is currently stock).

Thank you for any help

yes these cars can swallow up 10" rears you should be ok get the right offsets and you will do just fine.

Me personally im going 10.5 front and 11 rear

Certainly it is your car and your choice, but 1/2" would not make enough difference in appearance or function for me to lose the ability to rotate the tires and improve tire wear.

It's all about the offsets! Your proposed combination should be fine since the staggered stocks in the rear are only 1" less than the 10's you want to put on.

You can use this tool to play around with tire sizes. I don't know how the roads are where you live but here in Michigan our roads are crumbling and dodging potholes is a challenge! You will lose a bit of side wall flex going up to 20's but the car will look great.

Good luck,

Bob

Thanks for the replies I decided to go with a Cl63 replica rim in 20 inch with 10's on the back 8.5 on the front for that staggered look.

Once the rims get here I'll post a picture with them on
