Factory HID headlights adjustment screw FOUND!
After having lived with shoddy output/aiming of my factory HIDs in my S500, I removed both headlights for other reasons, upon reinstall, I saw the words UP, DN with an up arrow and down arrow printed around a phillips screw.
I was like WHOA this is the elusive adjustment screw I couldnt find all this time!
Located directly atop the headlight, close to the center youll see a black hole with the even darker outline of a screw. I turned each screw(one each headlight) either counter clockwise or clockwise and raised the lights so I could see further than only ten ft ahead. I can see at least 50ft on a pitch black rd w/ no markers, a few hundred ft if there are markers and signs along the roadside.
Ill upload pics if needed. I have regular headlight lenses and no projectors. Unsure of the '03+ setup.
I gave them at least twenty turns til it clicked.
