2005 Mercedes Benz S500 4Matic
Exclamation To all S Class owners (Please help)

I have a 2005 Mercedes Benz S500 (W220) with the Bi-Xenon headlights. Recently the 2 bulbs which are marked in the photo have gone out and I need to replace them. What is the name of those 2 bulbs and how do I replace them (please post video, pics or explanation). Any help you can give is VERY much appreciated! Thanx!

The Arrow closet to the grill Is the fog light. The other one next to the Xenon headlight is the High beam. Simple to replace, Open your hood and there are two caps on the back of them open the caps and the light bulbs will be there to twist. Their may be a metal clip in there just detach that first. If its easier you can take the whole headlight out. Need any more help let me know

If you have a jiffy lube in your area they change these lights at a low cost
They are hard to reach and I let them do it

The only one they can't change is the hid projector on the outside but since you're not having a problem with that one its ok

No need for him to take it to a jiffy lube. I'll walk you threw it step by step so you'll always know

Ok so it seems pretty simple. Do you know the names of the 2 bulbs? I need to order them or check to see if anyone has them in stock.

Also 1 more question when you pop open the black circle shaped housing I see 2 wires running to a piece of plastic which I assume is holding the bulb. Do I just pull that out (not the wires but the whole piece) and the bulb comes out with it? Or am I wrong? Thanx for all the help guys!!

Last time I did it, I unplugged the plug first and then twisted it out some times you need to use a bit of force to get it out don't be afraid. ( Always where gloves when putting the new bulbs in, the oils from your fingers can cause the bulb to burn to hot and start a fire or burn out quicker. )

Your high beam light is an H7 bulb,
your fog light (Closest to the grill) is an H1 bulb.

Anything else just ask.

AWESOME!! Ok only 1 last question. I was DM'd a message that said the fog light is called a T94 bulb. Is that the same as an H1 bulb?

I have heard of T94 bulb, but I think thats for the tag light. I know that if you type in H1 fog light w220 it'll come up.

Thats the Fog light, you can buy any H1 fog.
