I know I am probably wrong but! I pulled my HU out in my 2005 W220 and couldn't help but notice that the plug where the power connects to has a few more pins than are being used. I read the "start here" thread and know that it is said that only the 2003s have an aux input so I wondered what else could the other pins be on the 2005? Obviously theres ground, constant +12v and switched +12v which are the three being used on the small black plug so... I wonder what the rest are????

I did the retrofit of the iPod integration kit on my W203 with MOST and so I had the pinout for that HU and became familiar with the signals needed for an aux in... I might be dreaming here but... I can tap off the HU power to go into an iPod integration kit, then all I need is audio channels in and CAN Hi/LO for steering wheel controls.... Maybe that pinout has the info I need!

Does anyone have it? It's not in the WIKI!
