s350 buying advise

looking at a 2005 s350 with 90K , salvage title . due to rear end damage , professionaly repaired . for $6500 . The owner says the ESP light is on but not affecting driveability at all. i was thinking maybe just steering angle sensor but then started to wonder about any rear sensor damage. any thoughts ?

When was it damaged ? Recently or years ago ? A car that's been used for years after repair should be ok. A car that's just been repaired is an unknown . Might have lingering problems

Remember the s350 is the short wheelbase . Most prefer the longer wheelbase v8 cars as they have much more rear legroom

Not sure if you are still "looking" at this S350. The ESP light could have been "on" before the accident. Also, does the seller have "before" pictures to show you how "extreme" the damage was/wasn't? FYI, If you have the VIN# sometimes you can google it and find images of the car & its damage, if was sold at a Salvage Auction like most are

'94 SL600,'05 SL600,'06 S65,'07 E63,'14 E63S,'09SL600 all sold, ‘15 S65,‘18 E63S,'17 SL65, '17S65Cab
Are you sure this is a 2005 US S350? The SWB S350 was a 2006 only import to the US. I would avoid this car.
