Coilovers

Hello, I would like to get new rims for my w220 03 S430. I have the Airmatic suspension at the moment and though it works fine without problems I would like to convert to the Coil's. The only Coil's that I have found online are the ones from Arnott. I am not so happy paying $1,700 without install. Anyone know of anything cheaper? I'm not one to cheap out but this isn't my "show" car. I really just use it as a daily driver. When I get rims can I pick the ride hight of the car with the coils? I looked at lowering links and I am not a fan of putting them on with Airmatic....

There are cheaper conversions , sun coast eBay etc but we always hear problems with the cheaper ones and the savings aren't that much

What problems do they encounter? I probably only plan to put 25-40k more miles on this before I sell it.

These are it but I got a pretty good discount through the shop I go through in Jacksonville Florida if your going to put 20s on you're going to need to roll your finders because there going to rub on big bumps and sharp turns. I haven't found any that are adjustable

I'm not rolling my fenders... I'll take the risk.

You guys recommend both? I'll spend the extra $100 if needed.

I have Strutmaster coilovers on my 2000 s430 and I love them. I did however pay like $1050 and did the install myself in under 2 hours. Really simple install surprisingly. Google Strutmasters and you'll get them and a youtube how to video also.

Just an fyi, I completed my Yellow Spring Racing coilover conversion about two weeks ago now. I ordered the 20kg spring rate for the rear coilovers but, I'm discovering that they are a little too stiff for what I'm looking for. I'll be replacing them with 14kg springs in a few days but thought I would see if someone on the forum would be interested in a set of 20kg springs. BTW, these are on a W220 03 s600 TTV12. Please PM me if anyone is interested.

Have you yet experienced any issues with yellow speed coilovers yet and I as well have a 2003 TT s600 and wondering if they are any good and last like the quality?? Thanks in advance.

How has your experience with the coiler conversion so far?

Was the 14K springs in the rear put the comfort back into the ride?
