Pioneer 2-din hu cuts off at medium volume
I bought the car with a poorly installed pioneer unit. For one when i turn off the car the radio is still on and have to turn it off manually. And 2 whenever turned up past 14 the sound just cuts off. Please help

The first issue it may have purposely been wired so the stereo could play with the car off . I always have my custom stereos installed this way so I don't have to keep the key in the ignition but can still play my stereo
As for cutting off when volume exceeds 14, that sounds like an internal defect in the stereo itself

Thanks tusabes but my concerns with it being connected the way it is... Is that the car battery dies every day because its drawing power while I manually turn it off. As for it cutting off could it not be wired wrong to the bose amp?

If your car battery is dying everyday then you definitely have some type of electrical problem. BTW, how old is your battery?

Battery is brand new. No electrical problems. Only thing drawing power whike the car is off is the headunit. I need it wired so it goes on and off with the ignition some how.
