I am new to this forum and in desperate need for help
I own a 2002 W220 S320 and this week i finaly got my command 2.5 unit.
for quite some time that i wanted to do this upgrade as originaly i had on the car the Becker audio 30 wich i hated.

I have found the pinouts diagram that i needed to change from connector C on the Becker 30 to the connector C2 on command 2.5.

Connector A and B fits in the command without any mod.
I understood that is needed to swap 4 pins on connector C2 as following:

From pin 7-interior CAN shield to pin 10-D2B Wake Up

From pin 11-sound TV left to pin 7-interior CAN shield

From pin 15-reverse signal to pin 8-interior CAN Lo

From pin 16-Robert Bosch CAN shield to pin 9-interior CAN Hi

After i did this pin swap i powered up the car and everything went crazy. Head lights started to flash all kind of relays clicked, the car had went crazy. Only the radio was working and nothing else, also the screen wont turn on although music was playing.

then i swaped back the pins to how thay were in the first place and every thing started working normaly, the radio, CD and the CD changer, buttons on the wheel, lights on the command buttons and also the comand was turning off when taking the key out.
Only one iseeu i cant solve, the command screen wont turn on at all and i dont know if its becose i didnt do somthing right or i need to change fuses on command or maybe the command screen is bad and broken?

Has anyone had this iseeu before?

Any help will be much appriciated.

Have you ever sorted out that issue? I'm attempting to do a comand upgrade on my car which has the Becker Audio 30 unit..
