removal of all 4 doors
Ok guys, I am about to remove all 4 perfect doors from a donor S430 to replace my S500 doors that are battling lower rust issues (they are even both Arctic White!). Three questons: The 2000 S430 front and rear doors and my 2001 S500 front and rear doors are a match in size right? The two big hinges and the one small hinge on the doors are no worries but what about the large "wire" conduit? Any tips on getting that disconnected? I will be working in a salvage yard with the tools I bring in advance.

Stan,
No personal experience to share but I'm attaching the WIS instructions to guide you. Looks fairly simple but you will need a helper to preclude any handling damage.
Great find on the same color. I might caution you on the color match. You might want to double check that the paint codes do match. The color code is on one of the body tags. This one on mine is on the driver side door pilar showing color code 040 which is Black.......
Good luck,
Bob

Bob your the best! I have checked and both cars bear the 143 paint code. Thanks though for pointing that out as you never know!
