OEM Wheels

Here is my question for you guys. My initial research says yes, but wanting to make sure I have considered everything. I have a great deal available to buy the following wheels:

2006 2007 MERCEDES S CLASS OEM STAGGERED CHROME 19 INCH WHEELS WITH CENTERCAPS/ OFFSET 43mm/ WIDTH FRONT 8.5 / REAR 9.5/ DIAMETER 19 inch/ they came off of an S600.

I own a 2001 S500 base sedan, Airmatic no ABC. Will these fit with no modifications? Thanks in advance.

I agree, they should fit. Are you going with staggered tires or the same size all around.

Thanks Doni01 and John B. I am going to get them and will upload a picture once they are installed with the new tires. Staggered set up with the 8.5 front and 9.5 rear.

You can install the same size tire on all four, or wider on the rear. Same size on all four allows tire rotation, with better tire life. "Stylin" require the widest tires you can stuff in the wheel wells.

Mercedes
Yeah he is asking about same tire sizes on staggered wheels

That way you can swap tires front to back to rotate them and get longer wear

You lose half of the treads life warranty if you run different size tires

I agree, the staggered may look good but they will not last as long. I currently have staggered but my next tire purchase will be the same size all around. Right now I can just swap left to right and that is only because they are not directional tires.

Problem is I do not like the "peeled" back look of the tire on the wider rim when you get them to fit the narrower rim. My car currently has that look. Not only that but having the tires moved from rim to rim in rotation just gives the shop more opportunities to scratch the rims IMHO. So I will probably go with the 2 different size tires on mine.

^^That's exactly what I think but some people are more concern with the tires being worn out. I rather get new tires a little sooner than deal with the whole Removing/Scratching/Re Balancing.
