Anything else I can do?

On a side note, had the valve cover caskets redone. There was still a leak. Turns out there was a small itty bitty hole in the valve cover itself. All is good now

I have had a *^% load of Manitence work done in the last few weeks. I also decided to try and make some personal modifications such as wheels, touch up rust spots, lip spoiler, front lights redone, wood steering wheel, fix the cd changer, LED rear license plates lights, clear led turn signal lights & and I think that's all I can remember for now.

I am out of ideas on what else I can do. Anyone have any other ideas? Nothing gaudy please.

this is a popular mod for those who don't like too much chrome. Mainly around the window trim. Simple black vinyl wrap. Not for everyone, but bringing up as an option.

Run a strip of sealant along the top edge of the windshield to reduce wind noise.

When they're due for replacement, fit recent asymmetric tires.

Feed the leather.

Use a syringe to inject grease into all the ball-joints.

Clean the sun-roof drains.

Keep the battery charged.

Drive it every week.

Fit the same tires all round.

Is there an interesting story about your 2001 S55? Someone stole it?

9pm. Doorbell rings. Lived in a gated community so don't think twice about opening the door. Doors opens, there's a guy and a girl and the guy has a gun. Wants the keys to the car which I promptly hand over(bought the car brand new and wasn't even a year old yet I think). Call the police shortly after, Car is found in a neighbors garage down the street. (Tele Aid Tracking) Neighbor claimed he didn't know whos it was and a friend brought it to him (bull****).

got the car back and got rid of it in the next day. Bought a 1990 Bentley Mulsanne S shortly after for 70k less. Enjoyed it much more and didn't get bothered for it.

Looks like the rear could be lowered a bit , it looks raised more than the front
As for what else to do, Andrew pempek does some cool headlight updates and paddle shift steering wheel update

I thought about this for years.

The W220 was really the first modern luxury car. While now its common to have all the features it has, once upon a time is was incredible. And, still nice by todays standards...

With that being said, it has a very elegant look to it. I think the facelifted rear lights try to make it look futuristic. There nice, don't get me wrong, but after many times visiting this, I prefer the look of the old lights.

What about changing the headlights to the face lifted one? Change the factory navigation unit?

Old nav works fine and stereo sounds great for a factory system, spent a good penny keeping it working. Have the most recent updated nav disc, Bluetooth, and it sounds fantastic. No need to change it yet at all. I have a Newer CLS that has the new system in it and I quite like the old system more.

Thought About headlights but I have a number of dilemma's.
1. I actually have self leveling Xion's already so changing them out is not easy as most kits online only want the normal lights.
2. I have a pre facelift. Changing lights means changing hood and grille and bumper. Little to much work to do it accurately. Not really interested in making my car look newer. I just want it to look better and function better. When it comes to cars, my goal is to not make a 2002 act and look like a 2009, its to make it look like the best 2002 it could be

Then you can't really do anything more as it has the best in terms of 2002 if you don't want to change the look. Maybe an oil change?
