Airbag Modification?

I have a W220 steering wheel with the one center connector on the airbag. Can the airbag be modified to the two connector style with the green and yellow connections to be used on my 2006 E320 which is a W211?

I seriously doubt that you can safely modify an air bag - that sounds pretty dangerous. You might try to see if a W211 air bag will physically fit into the W220 wheel. A better approach would probably be to try to find a used W211 wheel that is the style that you want.
