Best Dealer Service in greater Los Angeles
Just picked up 2011 S550 with low miles and still got lots of original warranty left. Also have the two years of prepaid maintenance with it cause this is the deal MB has now from the dealer.
Looking for some guidance on the best service department?
Thx in advance, Mike

Bump...
Anyone ever had a good experience with a dealer service department?...can you recommend one?...or a service advisor that knows their stuff?
Prefer comments about WI Simonson, Beverly Hills or South Bay!

I have had good experiences with Anaheim Mercedes. They do NOT try to sell unnecessary service. On one of my first visits, I was asked if my vehicle was leased. This seemed strange, but they explained that all listed maintenance MUST be performed on lease vehicles whether it is needed or not.
As an example, since my vehicle is NOT leased, they inspect the wiper blades each time I visit, and conclude after seven years, the original blades do NOT need to be replaces. They will point out which service items MUST be performed-- As an example transmission service at 39,000 to 40,000 miles. When I needed tires, they told me their best price, but advised me that I could probably do better elsewhere.
They price match any other dealer without question. They often have advertised specials that are the lowest in the country.
Extremely low mileage loan cars are provided at no charge, however they usually are "C" class. They do NOT require an appointment, but you will be able to drop off you car and be in a loan car usually in less than 10 or 15 minutes if you have an appointment.

Thanks Steve. Have you been using a particular service advisor or just rolling the dice based the time you arrive? I am hoping to get a referral since I have a couple of years of dealer maintenance that is already covered! Anaheim is doable for me as long as I get a loaner.

Another plus is most of the service advisors keep touch-up paint in their desks and will touch up any small chips at no charge if you ask them and they have a suitable color.
