s65 AMG exhaust retrofitt

hi, pleas can anyone tell from the picture below if this is an s65 amg exhaust? it is deffinitly from w221 and I can buy it, but the seller doesn't know from what car it was deinstalled

the only part number i can get is 221 491 57 00
this should be deffinitely w221 exhaust pre-facelift

it is definitely not a W221 OEM S65 exhaust....

why do you think so? it is a w221 and it has 4 exhaust holes, so it should be from s65 or s63

The exhaust tips look nothing like from an S-Class, never mind an AMG. The exhaust tips are part of the muffler and are chrome, the S65 having the tips connected while the S63 had separate exhaust tips, but were lined up.

tips can be dismounted and also ordered separately, if you have EPC you can check, this looks like pre-facelift s65 without tips

Had S65 mufflers prior to S63 mufflers. Neither had vacuum operated valve and both outlets were separated by approx. 1.5 to 2 inches.

Both sets of mufflers bodies looked the same other than the tips. Almost looked like the S65 tips could slide onto the S63 mufflers.

You can tell if for S63 or S65 if inlet diameter is approx. 2-5/8" to 2-3/4" in. All others approx. 2-1/4" to 2-3/8" inlet diameter.

Weird how that part number does not come up on EPC.

I suspect those are for the facelifted S550 due to the inlets on the tips are somewhat oval.

thats a stock oem s550 exhaust missing the exhaust tips, all s550's come with exhaust tips
