you can just have it installed by an installer, it would not cost you much instead of doing yourself without any knowledge it will cost you more if you break the bulbs.

i suggest you use a little logical sense, a lot of help have been provided to you by some members, you need to exert just a little effort in resolving your own issue. Which state are you at? i cannot understand why people who wants to own and drive a benz could not afford to spend for maintening the car

you need to pay if you do not know how to socialize with people/mechanics. try pepboys and just be kind and courteous to the mechanics and don;t ask too much question and they might do you a favor in installing, you might as well buy those bulb at pepboys if they have, or even autozone etc. and ask them to install it for you, if you still cannot comprehend just send it to the MB dealership and let them do the job,pay and do away with the headache.

my logical senses told me just to buy the replacement bulbs on ebay for $30-40 and give it a try yourself. it's a just light bulb change, isn't it. the worse thing that can happen is that it didn't work. you loose $40 and learned a lesson on what not to do. of course you should use common sense like not to touch the light bulb itself and be careful not to drop the bulb...etc. i'm sure someone here have changed the hid bulbs themselves. hopefully they will chime in soon.

I have changed my bulbs in the past. You need to turn the wheel all the way to 1 side so you'll have room to work. Then there are 3 push pins in the wheel well you have to take them out to get access behind the wheel well. Then with a flashlight look behind the wheel well and you'll see the headlight. Remove the round plastic cover that covers the headlight bulb. The bulb is held in place by two metal prongs squeeze inward on the metal to release the bulb. Disconnect the old bulb hook up the new 1 and replace all previous parts removed.

244 is definitely too much to pay for installation of the bulb, for as long as you have the technical skill you may be able to save on spending that amount, if you decide to do it yourself, make sure you detached all electrical power line from the terminal where the bulb meets the igniter. Good luck and take all precaution as this are high voltages.
