Are Continental Contipro Contact good tires>

I found a good deal on a new set of Continental Contipro Contact tires and curious if they are good tires. They would be going on my 2008 S550..

I ran a set of those on my old 1996 BMW 740iL and they seemed to last forever, and were relatively quiet and smooth the whole way through.

Conti Pro's were on mine. When time for new (last December) I went w/ Conti Exreme Contact DWS. Live in Wisconsin, so all season had value. AWD and DWS got me through snow very well. Very pleased w/ DWS in heat and dry, as well.

Quick aside--Conti's are pricey. But, I caught a sidewall puncture in a construction area. Tire had about 3200 miles on it. Contacted seller who told me to contact Continental. Continental gave a case #, directed me to local dealer. Continental covered replacement; one year roadside included w/ new. Didn't know that. Luckily, w/ 3200 they didn't prorate, either. Had to wait to get tire shipped and delivered, but worth it. Total out of pocket $18.20 for the balancing.

Depends on you

I have not tried Conti Pro - but had Continental DWS - cut me off from the road completely, super quiet and durable.

I now have Bridgestone Potenza and love it - they may not last as long but the feedback from road is amazing!
