Auto dipping rear view mirror in reverse?

Hi there, My car isn't dipping side mirror when the gearbox is placed into reverse. It used to do this and i've searched the menu's but found nothing. Does anybody know why its stopped? Car is a 2011 S350 Cheers

Im going from memory on my 05, the inst cluster display has enable features that need to be on, also it wont tilt unless the drivers/pass mirror positioner buttons on the door is left on pass position, an easy mistake to make when adjusting the drivers mirror.

look at your mirror control. is it selected on L or R? make sure it's on L

I've tried looking in the menu, i have everything enabled, still nothing.

I tried putting the mirror in L and it didn't move.

Hmm, must be something i'm not doing here.

Maybe it has to be reset by the SDS?

Make sure the passenger side mirror button is engaged, thats the right side button not left.

I think they have the steering wheel on the other side over here, so for them the left side mirror should be selected.

yes sounds like you haven't programmed the tilt down position

The motor for the facelift part number A2218205442 is actually cheaper than the old one...I wonder if we should try one..? Not that my OEM one worked on reverse..
