I've had terrible luck with spacers myself but I'm beginning to think I'm an isolated case since a lot of owners report zero problems.

Got it. So right out of the box the wheels have an offset very near the factory spec of 43mm and would bolt right up perfectly without spacers, but you wanted the wheels pushed out flush with the fender lip more and the spacers got you there.

No right out of the box the rear wheel would sit inside the fender and still fit, the front however would not clear the brake and had to be pushed out by 15mm minimum to do this. I used the 15mm up front and it cleared and did 20 mm in rear to match up with the front. Even if they did fit out of the box I would still push them out, I like them sitting pretty even with the fender.
THIS IS HOW THE BACK LOOKED BEFORE THE SPACER WENT ON.

All good! My wheels started out as 20's as well but I thought they were too small so I up'ed them an inch I had a few extra bucks laying around and figured why not. Since you got a deal on the 20's, all good. Knowing your previous wheel setup's, I was looking forward to seeing what you had this time around and you didn't disappoint!

Yeah, I'd have pushed those out too. It's amazing the difference a few millimeters makes. Especially with a drop you need those wheels as flush as possible. I'd say you got there. So between the drop and the +1 wheel sizing you reduced the overall suspension compliance to some extent. Is the ride noticeably stiffer? Does it still feel generally like a stock S on rougher surfaces?

I believe ya. I was nervous about going to 20's and I can't feel any difference vs the 19's but I'm not dropped. I have a set of 5mm and 10mm HR Trak spacers in the garage. Maybe I'll order some lug bolts and try them on my OEM 20's. Where did you get your lug bolts from?

Here she is (yawn):
Staggered 20's (OEM S63 Wheels). 43+ offset so I could push them out like yours. If you could hit me back with part numbers or ordering info on your same front and rear spacers and lugs that would be great! Love the lowered look, not sure if I'd do links again but they are the most efficient option.
Edit:
That Rentech piece is cool but expensive as hell plus kind of a pain to install. Ordered GhostLinks.

You can run them! It's not the rim widths that can cause an issue, it's just having too great a variance in rolling wheel diameters (the diameter of the rim plus the tire) between the front and rear axles. Just be careful when choosing tires to keep the variance under 3%.
Here's a couple of "safe" 21" fitments for your 4Matic:
F 21x9 255/30R21 R 21x10.5 285/30R21 (Variance of 2.60%)
And safer:
F 21x9 255/35R21 R 21x10.5 285/30R21 (Variance of 1.05%)
www.1010tire.com has a nice online calculator that lets you experiment with different front vs rear tire sizes and reports the difference in rolling diameters.

^^^Nice wheels. Had an S430 in Pewter. Anyone who's seen that color in person loves it.
That white one had the biggest damn cell antenna I've ever seen! There must be really bad cell coverage there.
On your current car, I'd sell the Brabus wheels and raise some cash. I'd do a wrap on the roof in "carbon fiber"
or gloss black, and get spacers for your OEM 20's to push them out toward the corners more or get a fresh set of 20's with a lower offset.
I'm not a mechanic and I wouldn't want you to damage the car. But my kid brother up in NY is a great mechanic and he'll know if your guy's arguments have any merit. I'll get ahold of him this weekend and repost.

Thanks for the link.
I thought yours was made from OZ because I saw the center caps that looks like it says OZ wheels.
Without using spacers and not lowering the car do you think it look good?
I probably want to keep everything close to original as possible except for those mesh wheels of course

I will check if OZ still make this model
Any idea how much expect to pay for these OZ 20x 10's ? I looked for them briefly and as not able to find who sells them.
Mine is black just like yours with the same OEM wheels now. Seeing those rims on your car got me excited for a new look perhaps.
