So, i have good and bad news to report. I had my exhaust installed today. It was a pretty simple process and Becker provided all the things i needed to have it installed.
Impression: Looks awesome and the sounds it actually pretty quiet. you can definitely hear your exhaust now when you gas but its not obnoxious loud. I'm sure if you remove one of your resonators it would be alot louder. I'm truly happy about my purchase. I am not quite sure if it is me but the car seems a bit more spiffy but that might be me gassing it hard to hear the exhaust. I'll do a quick video tomorrow when i get a chance.

There are quite a few s550 with exhaust and deletes on YouTube. As for the becker exhaust, I see it a bit quieter than a miestershaft or something like that. So, I not think it will be too loud but it will be heard. Luckily, te exhaust doesn't drone while idling and i only really hear it when you gas. I'll do a quick video tonight and I'll let it break in and do another one. I heard from someone that sometimes the sound might change after a break in period. Not sure how much truth is there but why not.

Sorry gents. I was on a work trip for awhile so I have not been able to get a good sound clip for you. I just went outside and made a quick video and hopefully i'll make you a better one later. Sorry for the delay It isn't too loud in my opinion and if you wan tit louder you can always remove the middle cat.
FYI, the center piece of the diffuser still needs to be dropped out at the paint shop.

Cheers for sending the clip! Much appreciated. I agree it's not that loud but you can clearly hear the difference compared to standard exhaust. Quite tempted to try Becker + muffler delete combination.

I finally received the center section of the diffuser back today and installed it. I snapped a couple pics of what it looks like installed. One thing I noticed on the 2007 S550 AMG rear bumper is that the diffuser is slimmer in height than the 2010+. I had to heat up the diffuser and bend it a bit to make it tuck in the sides.

Can you post a front pic of your car with those wheels?

Thanks Kiddkynetik. I'm sold! Just ordered this set up for my 2010, $860 out the door for exhaust and the bumper parts.
From Becker Performance Ebay Store $649
From www.rockauto.com Their Part# MB1115101 $109.79
From www.rockauto.com Their Part# MB1180101 $101.79
Per Star EPC, the 2010 S550, 63 and 65 share a common rear bumper cover, so it should just be a matter of removing the stock lower bumper panel (clips on and off) and snapping in the new two-piece section. I may have that body colored filler piece wrapped in CF vinyl since the black body color tends to lose all its contrast with the surrounding piece.

So I got all my toys in but the shop had an issue with the install on my 2010. There's a factory bracket that mounts the OEM tips to the underside of the bumper and also appears to be part of the retaining system for the diffuser. The OEM support is too narrow for the aftermarket tips. Not sure if it needs to come out, be replaced, or just left alone.
In the pic it's the black piece that starts left of the tip, runs over the top and ends about 6" from the tip toward the center of the car. Sent a PM to the OP but couldn't attach a pic.
I'm guessing it's just left in place and the Becker tips are supported differently, but I wanted to figure it out before they started cutting. Emails are out to the MFR and the Ebay vendor (whose response to my question was an offer to send an RMA so i could ship it back at my expense, less a 20% restocking fee. No install guides, no tech support. It's like I bought a $600 exhaust kit off the back of a truck somewhere.)

Some notes on this mod for a 2010+ S550. You will receive no instructions from the seller or manufacturer. which is a US based lower end aftermarket exhaust builder for Asian car tuners. I guess they picked the name "Becker" because it sounds vaguely European. There is also no support. I was able to reach some doofus at the manufacturer who literally knew absolutely nothing whatsoever. It was as if a janitor had been walking by the phone and just decided to pick it up and have a chat.
The seller's advice when I told them I had some fitment questions was to send the system back for a refund (less return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.)
1) Although the S550 bumper will accept the S63/65 diffuser, it is not a perfect fit. It snaps in fine on top. However there is an inner structure on the S550 bumper that provides two slots on the bottom of the bumper to receive two corresponding tabs on the S550 diffuser. They retain the lower edge of the diffuser to the car.
The S63 diffuser also has tabs, but they're positioned several inches lower than the slots on the S550 bumper. The diffuser is secure, but if you tug on the bottom there's a lot of play because it just hangs there. You'd need to fabricate a bracket or two to lock it down.
2) After the 550 diffuser is removed, the openings for the tail pipes in the bumper itself are not wide enough for the Becker dual tips. Also, because the S63 diffuser has wider openings, about two inches of the bumper's inner structure, mainly the mounting brackets for the S550 tips, peek out of the diffuser exhaust openings and interferes with the placement of the Becker tips. We found it necessary to Dremel off a chunk of each bracket to get a "clean" opening and optimal placement of the new tips. Alternatively you could remove the rear bumper cover and then remove the retainer system.
3) Once those modifications were made, the pipes and mufflers installed easily and with some adjustment it was possible to get a nice square fit with a small even gap between the tip and diffuser opening. With the S63 diffuser and the nicely machined and robust "Becker" tips the result looks very good and OEM.
4) It's loud. The car starts with a roar and then settles down to a nice rumble. Inside the cabin, idle is just a low end background sound. However, open the throttle at all and under load you'll hear a thundering growl that you cannot ignore (or escape from). Once the car gets momentum and upshifts and the revs drop the car quiets down immediately. I did not hear any "highway drone" that I've heard about in systems where someone has deleted their resonators or some other nonsense.
Running through the gears with the paddle shifters is a blast, especially once you're in third. The quality of the engine note is terrific and it totally transforms the personality of the car from smooth luxo cruiser to bad-*** luxo cruiser.
If the sound had a downfall I would say that rolling from a stop the engine (which is working very hard to get 2 tons of car moving) produces a lot of noise without any real acceleration. It just sounds faster than you're moving. I recently drove an S63 and it sounded very similar, but of course it was able to actually produce the acceleration to match the engine sound.
The Verdict:
If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't. Too many fitment issues (at least on a facelifted car) and non existent support from seller and manufacturer. Exhaust may be too loud for a DD. I love how it looks, though. I'll live with it for awhile and then decide if I want to keep it or somehow undo it.

I took it back to the shop to address the excessive volume under load. They popped a pair of resonators in after cutting the X pipe out and fabricating small lengths of pipe. They had it done in less than hour. $180 parts and labor.
Huge improvement. It still has that great throaty bass sound and clearly is louder than stock. It cruises with a nice low note and when opened up it still roars impressively, but overall much more live able and suited to the car overall.
With just the Becker kit I think it would be a problem at trade in, but it's fine now. Looks great too.
For anyone considering this mod just know there is some middle ground if it's too much out of the box.

Finished result. While the install looks clean I need to point out that when you change diffusers the lower tabs that lock it into the underside of the bumper will no longer align, leaving the entire lower bumper "floppy" and unsecured. I ended up drilling two holes in the bottom of the heat-shield, a hole in the center diffuser tab and then zip-tying the bottom of the bumper to the heat-shield to get it solid and stable.

Hi Mike I wanted to check in with you again on the Becker Performance exhaust. I see these kits for sale all the time on eBay now for the w204 C class.
Unfortunately your comments about the nonexistent support, and fitment issues aren't exactly encouraging for me to justify dumping $900 on a kit. But I am still very tempted.
I know I have a C class and you have an S, but I was wondering if you had any drive by videos or anything so I can get a feel for the sound? There's only one video I can find of a Becker exhaust on YouTube, and it's on a S class but its in a garage and is just the guy revving it, sounds completely stock.

Compare the size of the Becker muffler to OEM. On the S they're about 1/3 the size of stock and they're obnoxiously loud. Too loud can be fixed of course.
I had much more trouble swapping the bumper bits then I did getting them to sound good, but I doubt you'll think they're too quiet.

Can someone with this becker exhaust please post a proper sound clip. There is literally only this single sound clip on the entire internet. It's in a garage and all I hear is engine whine. I torn between doing the becker exhaust (which the tips I don't really like ) or just welding some s63 quad tips to the oem mufflers.
From what I'm reading the becker exhaust is too loud and quite comical. Somewhere else I read it's barely noticeable.
Has anyone else has experience with this exhaust?
