Intermittent Facelift Headlight Turn Signals..
Before posting, I have done a significant amount of searching on the forums for similar posts/issues, since I know I can't be the only one having this issue. I found posts that mentioned the issue, but never anything conclusive on a resolution.
Problem:
I have the facelift headlights, tail lights, DRLs and mirrors. The tail lights, DRLs and mirrors work just fine. The headlights, however, work intermittently from a turn signal standpoint.
When stopped, the turn signals in the headlights will work, although they will double-blink sometimes. When driving however, the turn signals in the headlights will typically blink once and then go out completely.
Any help to resolve this issue would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Grizz

Bump.. any insight to a fix?
Some research has turned up talks about a 50W-6ohm load resistor on each LED.. is that all that's needed?
Thanks

Did anyone ever answer this for you or did you figure it out. I am having the same issue and mine have now stopped working all together. Not sure where to start looking whether it be a fuse, the ballasts, or wiring harness i used.

Has to be a resistance issue. I've done a lot of W221 incandescent to LED work and if the SAM doesn't sense enough resistance it will shut down the circuit. This applies to most inside and outside lights.
I just ordered (but not yet tried) some Philips resistors (marketed as CAN-BUS error cancellers) and I'm optimistic. I wouldn't think you'd need more than 25w as the stock pre-facelift turn signal bulb is a 12190 which is rated at 24w.
The issue with inferior resistors is that the heat they generate causes them to have inconsistent resistance. And depending on the health of your charging system, this can be why you are seeing such inconsistent behavior.

Hate to bring this old thread back to life, but I have never resolved this issue.
I would also like to know "where are you installing these resistors"?
My right LED facelift headlight flickers when it is on and I am in traffic.
