Anyone know what bracket I need to mount one of the longer euro plates onto the front of a W221? I live in the states.

So the frames they include with the plates will not work. The front bumper on my S63 is angled right in the middle. The plate frames they send are straight and not bent.

Has anyone come across this problem and is there a solution?

No.

Source: I'm in law enforcement. My state doesn't have a front plate requirement so nothing up there will call any attention.

In California, front plates were optional, now mandatory.

Yep, you at least need to have a copy of your license plate visible in your window. But if you get stopped, the real one better show up during the conversation with the officer.

I have mine in my windshield right now and I am thinking of moving it to the back seat floor and putting a visible paper/plastic copy in the windshield or on my visor.

Hmm maybe I better research the laws about having a paper copy of my license plate?
