SuCCESS at last...07 face lifted to 010 sport kit
After about 5 random trips to dealership to buy parts to fill up the missing parts of the bumper i bought on ebay, I finally finished the facelift. Only did the front end. Thinking of leaving the back as is.
The entire experience has made me a guru on facelifting a W221 and i will be happy to help anyone with some advice if needed. removing bumper, mirrors, what parts fit and what parts need to be replaced etc. Would still have been cheaper than buying an entire kit if the bumper i bought on ebay had no missing parts...live and learn. But in retrospect, I would have gotten a full kit from Gary and called it a day.
Anyways, here is the finished product...still yet to screw in the bumper completely. its just mounted on two screws for now. Connected DRLs to side markers and they work flawlessly. Will take better pics once all screwed in and washed.

I love FL look but you should swap your headlamps too to complete the look

hey
would love to swap the headlights but i have the night vision feature and unfortunately, the aftermarket lights available currently don't work with Night-vision equipped cars. i don't want to go the route of gathering oem headlights and a harness etc. too much hassle with high risk of parts not working and programming SAM modules, finding harnesses etc..

Yep, bumper is not screwed in all the way yet. Its hard working in the cold...lol
I also have to put on the new wheel/fender liners on both sides, install facelift grill and facelift taillights. once the weather gets warm, am slapping back on the Vossens and planning on blackening out the grill and emblems on the car. will also plastidip the bottom half of the mirrors black.

You gotta update them headlights to complete the look, the old headlights on the facelift doesn't look as good.

hey
We have had no snow in Toronto for the last week, so I slapped the Vossens back on. Finally had some time to swap the front grill with the facelift grill. Car is still dirty and I still need to install my facelift taillights and iPod interface for me to have this car where i want it to be. But she is a head turner even as she sits now. Took this pic while waiting outside my mechanic shop....a little dirty but still pretty. Will take more pics once she is entirely detailed and waxed. probably in the summer.

Looks really nice. Job well done. I don't want to hijack your thread but I just bought a set of oem headlights off of a 2013 s550. Would this work with a car that has night-view?
