Rejex Keeps Wheels Clean
I picked up on this product in another thread while researching low-dust brake pads. Rejex is a sealant that claims, once cured, to repel surface contamination for several months.
I ordered a bottle. First, I cleaned the wheels thouroughly including the nooks and crannies then used a 3" orbital buffer and some polishing compound to get some bite into the clear coat. Then a single application of the Rejex, let it haze then hand-buffed it off.
I let it cure overnight as recommended and then took the car on a two hour highway run. Wheels are still clean. A very small amount of brake dust present that I could blow off. They also look great all polished up and sealed.
I may go ahead and do the whole car. Here's the link: http://www.rejex.com/

Hmm, very interesting... I recently put a coat of Meguiar's on the wheels to help on dust. I don't think it stopped the dust, but made it easier to wipe off and wheels are shinier. I'd be willing to try this "Rejex" if it works better.
Another 11 hours on the highway and we could meet up here in PA.

I use simple green and been using it for years. Does great and is cheap. Spray it on let it sit and power wash it off. Don’t even need to scrub or brush.

Ever since I swapped out the front pads to Akebono and left the rears I got from dealer, the rears at all times before any wash are dirtier than fronts, significantly dirtier. So I do not even bother with any special treatment since weekly car washes never allow them enough time to build up any brake dust.

with Akebono Euro ceramic brake pad. Cant say enough good things about them. I dont even have to try finding any other brand for better daily performance. All my mercedes has them on. OEM brake dust is the worse.

Yes; I spray it directly on the rim no watering it down. I let it sit for about 5-10min. Just depends how dirty they are. these are the two I use. I prefer the first link more but when they have run out of stock I have bought the regular. Once you use it you will never look back.
