20" S65 Replica Wheel Fitment 4Matic

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade to the 20" AMG wheel for my 07 S550 4Matic. What is the offset i need for a true square setup? What is the hub bore size that i need?

Who is my best bet for good replicas for these 20" S65 style wheels?

The OEM offset is 43 but I am running 35 all around. You will find folks who add spacers to make the tire sit more flush with the fender. I'll be doing that soon as well. The hub bore is 66.6. I am running 20x8.5 on 255/35/20 on all 4.

Ebay is probably the best place. You can find genuine oem amg wheels on there too for a good price, you just have to search.

Also, keep in mind, with aftermarket wheels you will need shorter lugs. The oem lugs are too long.

Question about the "ET" the bigger the ET number, does that mean the wheel sticks out further? I would like to sit flush to fender without the addition of spacers. Can someone help me with this please

The lower the offset - the closer it pushes outward towards the fender.

So techinally, your new wheels have built in spacers

Go on Ebay and do some searches. All the replicas seem to come from the same handful of manufacturers in China, and all the vendors seem to hold to the same prices but once in awhile one will have something on sale.

You can look for 20" wheels specifically for the 221 or CL, or the 2008-2013 C Class, or just look at all 20" wheels with the right offset. (All MB wheels have the same bolt pattern and hub bore. It's just the offset that matters). Try searching "20" AMG style wheels" and you'll get a big selection.

Replicas will either have a 45mm offset, which is as close to OEM as you'll get in a replica, or a 35mm, which will work and stick out more. I think the 35mm look better but if you want to stay as stock as possible on the suspension get the 45mm. 9.5" square is probably as wide as you'd want to go.
