OEM S63 AMG Wheels: 35 series tires on the front and back?
I ended up scoping up a deal on a set of oem S63 AMG 20" and i noticed that the front and rear tires are 35 series. I looked around at other sets and that seems to be the norm. Is there a reason for that? I'm not sure if it would look awkward or if i should replace the front with 40 series tires. Any thoughts?

S63 were/are actually staggered in height for some reason. You would need to change the size if your putting them on a 4matic to convert them to the same height front and rear.

Ahh, so would it be safe to say I can go up in series to 40 in the front when I mount them in my s550? How wide tire wise have people gone on the 20x9.5? Anyone does 295, 305, or even 315?

Same but with 285 rather than 275 in the rear. I was also checking out willtheyfit website and with my current 22 configurations, 245/30f and 295/25r, the car would be sloping down per say. I probably are going to use them as they are it it thought it was odd.

You will need to factor in the rim width and the offset in order to figure out what tire width & profile you will be able to run without rubbing on the front wheels.

Depends on the weather
I'd love to know also. I have 255/35/20 all around and I'd love to run a bigger tire if it is possible on a 4matic. When looking at the 255 on the rears from behind it looks so narrow and a wider tire would look so much better.
