Rear Climate Control Fan

2010 S550 4Matic w/rear seat climate control...

Fan seemed to be non-functional this morning. Control head shows it on full. Set controls to manual, tried max (LO) and (HI) temperature setting and tired different vent settings. No air movement/sounds of fan blowing. Replaced duo-valve in right fender 9-months ago.

Any suggestions on what this may be/what to check w/o a STAR diagnostic computer before I have to visit a dealer?

Thanks in advance for responses.

I have the exact same issue in my 2007 S600 Designo. Did you ever resolve the issue, and if so what was the solution? Thanks!

I replaced the rear blower motor in the console. Replaced the blower regulator too. Not sure exactly which was the culprit, but seemed to make sense to replace both if I was going through the trouble of pulling the console to fix one. Works flawless since. Not as difficult of an operation as I expected it to be. Just needed to know where all of the console attaching points are and take a little patience. Took about 1.5-2 hours start to finish. I only suggest that you use NEW genuine MB parts for the peace of mind.
