ETC. Initial startup.
I changed transmission fluid of my 07 S550 4matic and had it hooked up to Star. I then had code 0705- Component Y3/8s1 is defective. While trying to clear the code because it came and gone, I did the Initial Startup and thought I could reverse the process so I went one step too far. Now when I connect to ETC (transmission module) I got this message: Initial startup after repair N15/3 (ETC [EGS] control unit). Continue with F2. When I pressed F2 I got this: Menu item 'Repair' is only available if a control unit with MB object number A 003 446 03 10 is installed.
I have tried battery disconnected for 24 hours but still have the same message. Is there a procedure to restore the module to original?

I'm still working on the car and it is not ready to drive yet. I heard there are some sources on internet can provide online SCN programming service. Does anyone know a good contact?

I'd like to know how you got on solving the problem with your 'repair' trans
I have a similar issue, mine wont start. We did a gear selector unit change (ISM) and somehow the car wont start. It had asked for an EHS code.
I would like to know about your experience.
Does your star diagnostic have to be SCN enabled in order to sort this issue out and where do you get the code from.
There seems to be so little information on here or am I not asking the right question
