The lip can serve as a warning sensor for when you're about to approach something too that will hit your bumper. You'll hopefully hear it scrape before the painted bits.

Well originally I went with Wells Fargo but when I completed the app I made the mistake of listing what the loan purchase would be. I put down "to buy a roll of tape that looks like a lip spoiler in a picture I saw on the internet" and the branch manager asked to speak with me in his office. He was all "We don't make home mortgage loans for a $20 roll of tape." and I was all "What about the goddamn customer service up in this biotch?? and he was all "Why aren't you wearing any pants?!

So anyway, I made bail if anyone cares but I don't think I got the loan.

That's exactly what I told the Public Defender. It worked out okay. Got a restraining order out of the deal, so I've got THAT going for me, which is nice.
