This is an official BUMP, we are giving quotes away left & right on the S63 conversion kit. Keep in mind, our description states 4 Piece kit. But it includes all the necessary bracketry, LED DRL & bezel inserts to complete the S63 conversion.
I'm assuming that this is the exact same kit that Gary sells. His can be installed on a 2007-2013 S-class. For the 2007-'09, it requires an original or after-market grille from the 2010-2013. Are you sure your kit won't work on a 2007 - '09 with the correct grille?
Is Gary's a DuraFlex part as well? I didn't think it was. Your bodyshop generally will shoot you if you bring them a DuraFlex piece since they typically take a lot of work to prep for paint and to adjust fitment. I'd check with your shop specifically.
Nothing against this vendor but Gary's kit has had a lot of successful installs and a lot of feedback. Also not sure about the rear shot here...it looks 'shopped with an artificial black shadow that obscures most of the lower diffuser for whatever reason. Come to think of it, the front shot looks 'shopped as well. It would be better to show the forum members shots of actual converted cars...
Okay. Don't see it now but one of the part pics from the vendor that were in the thread yesterday had a DuraFlex logo on it. Or I'm straight up hallucinating. I guess if the kit is identical to Gary's just buy Gary's. Or are they giving these away?
I'm not sure who Gary is, but we are the manufacturer & distributor of Duraflex, Vaero, Carbon Creations & Aero Function. So you can order from a third party if you like.
this is not a duraflex kit, it's vaero. It's a completely different brand and material. I have installed pictures on a C63 if you would like to check them out. Vaero is perfect fitment with a paintable primer and all necessary items included to complete your installation. The part is made from an OEM style polypropylene material
