Consumer Battery down to 54% after only one day.......
The other day on the way to dinner, Command, partially shutdown with only climate control on screen. Ok, so I was washing the car and had the audio system on for a long time. I was also testing MP3's after that, so the consumer battery was working overtime. So I hooked up the charger and the C. Battery was down to 45%. It took several hours to fully charge, and the next day everything was fine.
Well, I was curious the following week, so I decided to spot check the Consumer Battery. It was 65%. I thought this was odd after normal use, so I recharged again and repeated. Today, it was again down to 65% after a full 100% charge last night, and only a short trip today in the car.
Is my Consumer Battery toast? It does take a full charge to 100%, but the next day is down in the 60% range after a normal drive.
* The Battery is several years old
* I see no evidence of any electrical consumers on constantly while leaving/locking car
* What % of charge is the Consumer battery typically at, on a day to day basis?
Thanks.....
