Visseo Tune2Air
Based on advice in this forum I am thinking about buying a Visseo Tune2Air streaming Bluetooth adapter. Do I need an additional cable in the glove box area to plug the adapter into or will it plug in directly?

Great add BTW. You should already have an Ipod cable that plugs into a female jack in the glovebox and terminates as a 30 pin male. The Tune2Air has a female 30 pin and you just connect it to the male and you're done.

Excuse my ignorance but could you describe the type of connector at the end of the cable that plugs into the female jack. Is this a round connector or other type?

TThis looks as if it should work. My glove box has female socket that would fit the plug shown, a USB connection and a 12V socket. There are no other sockets for a round pin jack

Received mine recently as well. No more burning MP3 DVDs thank god!
I noticed that on my car (09) the iPod connector is only powered when the engine is running, which seems strange. This is the only thing I don't like, as I enjoyed turning off the engine and sitting in the car with music playing until I opened the door. So not perfect, but still pretty fantastic

Right, but if I'm driving, then park, and shut off the engine the audio shuts off immediately. Doesn't do this with DVD, they keep playing until I open the door

Converts the IPod cable in the glovebox into a BT audio receiver. Adds BT audio and retains COMAND control as if an IPod/IPhone was physically connected. About $50 on Amazon.
