Keyless Go Issue
Hey guys,
Just noticed my rear drivers door handle does not always respond when I try to lock/unlock the car...but only the rear drivers door, all other doors are fine. Any thoughts?

It's very common for the handles to go bad on all MB keyless go systems. You can go to huskerparts.com and search for the handle color. I've taken one apart before, basically there's two buttons in the handle and they're not that well sealed so water gets in and corrodes the contacts. You could also go to the dealer and they can confirm with star diagnostic but they'll charge you for the diagnostic. The handle ranges from $200-$250 depending on color.

I wasn't able to get it fixed. You really need a replacement switch which I couldn't find. If you search the forums, you might find the thread where someone did fix it, they found a replacement switch from an old fax machine. Plus it's not really meant to be taken apart so bits of it got ripped, so even if it were put back together, it wouldn't look quite right.
