spilled coffee and my emergency signal switch is not working

I have 2007 S550 and accidentally I spilled coffee on the centre console. ALl bottons stopped working but they went back to normal working conditions except the emergency turn signal( the red triangle one). Any idea what went wrong and how to fix this. The turn signals work fine and I assume the fuse is fine otherwise if it is fuse issue the turn signals will stop working to right??

Any help is appreciated and thank you.

Try replacing the hazard flasher switch.

He could try taking out the hazard flasher switch, soak it in water and let it dry over a period of several days before popping it back in. Was there any sugar in the coffee? Had this happen to the window switch in my W140 which had NO cup holders.

KNBS550 the button itself works but the function( the hazard signals) does't work, so it is not stuck. I found used switch for about $200. Is it worth it?

WilliamMB - For $200 bucks, NO, not worth it. How often do you use the hazard flashers anyway? I suppose I use it when I'm double-parked to run into the cleaners or picking up a package somewhere or to warn traffic behind me of a crash ahead, but seriously...the switch itself is probably only $20. I saw a whole front center switch assembly for a W221 on Ebay for $200, if that's what you are referring to?

I'd wait because there will be that perfect hazard switch on Ebay in the future and it will be less than $200. Even if they want $50, it's still better than $200.

I need some help something similar happen with my water spilled on my hazard button. Now my hazards are on an won't turn off. The other buttons are working only the hazard button wont allow me to turn off my hazards. Is there a fuse I can remove to shut off the hazards in the main time and where is it located? 2008 s350

Disassemble switch block and check ribbon cables & connections underneath.
