08 4matic transmission shudder sometimes?
I just bought a 2008 s550 4M with 130k miles on it, seemed to be a well maintained car, but perhaps the trans was not serviced?
When I drive it slow, i feel the whole car shudder for 1-2 seconds after getting warm, cold shifts are excellent. It feels like you are driving over a rumble strip.. happens sometimes 1-2 shift, sometimes 3-4 shift, its random..
Does this sound like a valve body, torque converter, or should I just try changing the fluid? Any expert opinions?

Change fluid to know where you stand on that important maintenance item. Then have the engine and tranny mounts checked and the driveshaft rubber cake inspected for cracks/ collapse.
