Not bad advice actually...mbmanal I can't help but notice you've made a total of 7 posts on this forum and 6 of them were today promoting *******. The other one was in March 2015 where you chimed in to promote a *******s product. Seems odd, right?

A cursory review of syntax (or lack thereof in this case) does seem to indicate this person is posting under two different user names in different ******* threads...clear as day.

MySecondBenz is also another plant for them. Maybe we'll get the trifecta and get all of them/him booted.
Even if/when that happens, I'm sure he'll show up again under another user name(s) trying to push a product that doesn't exist and solicit money from unsuspecting forum members. I have to assume he's doing it on lots of other boards too. Since the admin has his IP address, perhaps forwarding his activity to the proper authorities would be prudent.

It appears ******* has gone the way of the dodo bird. Everything from him has been pulled from this site. I wonder how long it will be before his other aliases are gone too?

For anyone wondering how we traced the fake admin text back to *******:
Reverse phone number look up produced an association to a residential address.
Background records search on the address produced a name.
Google search of the name produced a match to a Linkdin profile.
Linkdin profile for that individual indicated he was the CEO of *******.
Not particularly overjoyed that we took him down, but anyone desperate enough to try to impersonate an Admin to intimidate a forum member is not anyone to do business with.
I understand discussions with vendors can sometimes get heated when their product or claims are disputed, but that text nonsense crossed the line. Thanks to Bob (Admin) for taking this seriously and quickly taking the necessary action.

I hope no one sent in any funds for the pre-order offer. If you did via credit card, you should contact their credit card company and dispute the charge immediately. If you paid via a debit card, you may have no recourse since Federal law only provides consumer protection for credit cards.
