Finding seat leak?

Hi guys.
I was woundering if you could give some pointers of how to find the leak i have on passenger seat.
Where is the pump? And how do i access it?

I have a feeling that the leak isnt in the actuall seat. The error code says its in the sway. But when i took off the cover on the back of the seat and filled the sway. It looks ok and, cant hear or notice any leak.
Suddenly the pump turns off after a couple minutes and the error code appear.

My guess is that the leak is by the pump somewhere. Or on the way to the passenger seat.

Hi silly question but what do you mean by "sway"?
Pressure to left and right seats is common so I don't think only one seat can play up. If your losing pressure to one the other will have the same problem.
Also what module are you communicating with? The seat module or the pump module?
It may be the pump itself is failing to produce enough pressure and the on time is being exceeded.

I have just fixed a leaking bladder in my car on the drivers seat cushion bolster. I've done a quick and dirty repair until I work out a more permanent solution. My solution is different from what most people attempt. Seems to be working so far. I will post a complete writeup in another thread.

Cheers.

Nice! Mine has been ruptured for awhile. I just can't justify paying 700 dollars for an airbag that don't necessarily need lol

Sorry off topic here: Hi Nick, give me a day or so to edit the photos and do the writeup.
US$700 seems cheap, I read US$1500+ on the net.
The excessively high prices of the seat bladders are not just limited to Mercedes Benz I was reading in another forum that the C5 corvette GM genuine parts is up around US$1000.

Cheers.

The assembly on mine is the upper assembly for the shoulder bolster. The dealer quoted me 780 dollars for it.

I think what I saw was the complete assembly both upper and lower.

That makes sense. Then it is actually cheaper than the dealer because you are getting both.

I know this is an old thread but I'm hoping someone can chime in. I hear a slight air leak as soon as I open any of the doors on my car, it only lasts for about 30 seconds and stops. Does anyone know what this could be? I have a 08 65, I don't think the door locks or soft close doors are still pneumatic but all of them still work with no issues. The only thing that does not work are my dynamic and massaging seats, but I didn't think those would start any kind of operation when the car is unlocked and door opened but not on. Any feedback is appreciated.

when you unlock the car and open the doors the pump in the boot runs to build pressure for the seats....
if it cuts in and out every few minutes when driving u have a leak and in the end the pump will trip on high temp
doors closing and locking on a 221 are electric, not air
the seat back rest modules play up and nothing behaves
the seats can fracture pipes and leak air but the modules die first
all sounds NORMAL
