Just swapped out my replica AMG wheels for factory S600 AMG wheels and wow what a difference. Not to knock the replica fans but the real deal wheels are way more beefy and lightweight. Lugs went from 27MM long to 40MM long and the whole wheel just looks much better built.

The reps must have been a much lower offset. Nothing about the wheel's construction would change the lug bolt length. I've run reps and OEM. Neither are invulnerable. I've bent both. The one upside to the reps is that at under $1k for a set if you curb one its not heartbreaking. If I do run reps, I stick with the size closest to the 44mm factory offsets. The only issues I've had with reps on an S is when I ran 35mm. Obviously OEM is always a safe bet if you can find a set you like and not have to spend $5k.

Interesting. I hav the 35 and they sit flush on all 4 corners. Looks way better than my 19" w the 45 offset. maybe u had a bad wheel?
