Nice find. But you should be able to grab each one for under $40k, even with those low miles. The second one for sale at a "starting" price of $46k must have had the ad placed by a guy who just set down his crack pipe to input the price.

The prices are decent if they were 2012 models with the big motor upgrade. But both of those cars have the old NA motor.

That old NA motor is solid/proven and reliable, with no turbo's to worry about ever replacing, and exhaust sounds better on the NA s550.

I know, you have a V12, not in same league to compare.

If a car is properly maintained and not constantly abused, turbos should never need replacing. They are no more subject to failure than any other mechanical part. According to Alex, the bi-turbo motors are more reliable than the older NA motors.

That said, I can definitely understand the charm of a solid NA motor. I loved the high strung NA V10 in my old E60 M5. When BMW went to the 4.4 twin turbo with the following gen, many BMW purists were upset that BMW seemed to sell out, even though the turbo motor was quicker and more reliable, not to mention more fuel efficient. That E60 M5 had the sweetest exhaust note I ever heard...almost identical to the V10 in the Lambo Gallardo and Huracan. The M5 now pipes in exhaust note through the car speakers. WTF!?!

That first one is really nice. fully loaded for sure.i always wonder if owners of cars like these have too many cars or simply baby these cars and don't drive them. i doubt i can ever sell a car with low mileage...I drive the ..ish out of any car i own. Thats what i bought them for.

The dealer is into the first car for 42300 or thereabouts. I know that for a fact. I don't know what happened there, but there is very little profit at listed price

The second one- it might be priced right for the right buyer... Who knows

yea for some reason white on Black is tuff to find. Both those cars are scores in my book, obviously the lack or wrty not so much. I was looking for the exact car I bought for some time. white blk, pana roof w amg. Obviously the best choice!!!

What amazes me is how these cars just plummet in value in a relatively short time. Also, how many of these cars- (obviously not these 2) have such high miles on them.

This is pretty much true of all high end luxury cars....even Lexus. Percentage-wise, they pretty much all drop about the same amount based on time, mileage, and condition.
